Michael Bahlitzanakis
Co-founder, Chairman & Interim CEO
Mr. Michael Bahlitzanakis involvement with the Internet began in 1993. He developed and ran early pre-mosaic applications and managed one of the most successful BBS-ISP Services in New York: Lime Light BBS. During the high flying days of the Internet bubble, he co-founded music2go.net, one of the first-generation attempted services which offered downloadable music via mp3 format.
During the late nineties, Mr. Bahlitzanakis joined JPMorgan Guarantee Trust Company. He was part of the company's global Y2K assessment team. He co-developed, supported and deployed migration strategies for such business units as corporate technologies and Credit Risk Management.
He later joined First Central Savings Bank as interim outsourced CTO. During his tenure, he orchestrated and headed all IT design and deployment to the bank, drafted all IT and informational-based policies concerning Y2K, and headed IT Institutional audits with the state banking department and the FDIC.
During his years of consulting and through mutual acquaintances, he co-founded BP Holdings Group, Inc. with his friend Jimmy Pittas serving as President and CFO. Mr. Bahlitzanakis currently serves primarily as the lead business architect for BPHG Media. While primarily serving as interim CEO, Mr. Bahlitzanakis also plans to continue his studies later this year to pursue his J.D.
Jimmy Pittas
Co-founder, President & CFO
Mr. Pittas' background is the numbers-driven world of accounting and financial operations. His legacy of work includes such companies as Real Estate and Development firms, manufacturing and services. In 1984 through 1992, he worked for New York City-based Real Estate and Development firm Tishman Speyer. His responsibilities included day-to-day asset and financial management.
Having met through mutual acquaintances, Jimmy and Mike forged a friendship which led them to start up BP Holdings Group, Inc. which was later renamed to BPHG Media. He currently serves as President and CFO. His current responsibilities include all corporate financial planning and management to BPHG Media.
Mr. Pittas holds a B.S. in Accounting from St. John University.
John Berryhill Ph. D
General Counsel
Dr. Berryhill has been registered to practice in patent matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 1993. His area of practice includes domain name disputes and other Internet-related intellectual property issues, and he has served as an expert witness in litigation relating to electronic technology. Dr. Berryhill is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers, and the Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society.
Dr. Berryhill received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, an M.E.E. and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 1985, 1987, and 1992, respectively. For his graduate studies, Dr. Berryhill developed a variety of electronic, optoelectronic, and photovoltaic devices utilizing silicon, gallium arsenide, and ternary III-V alloys. Dr. Berryhill received a J.D. from the Widener University School of Law, which he attended as a Widener Scholar, and is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. Dr. Berryhill is an inventor of U.S. Patent 5,144,377 "High-Speed Heterojunction Light-Emitting Diode."
He currently serves as lead general corporate council to BPHG Media for all global and US related intellectual property matters.
